Building Experience

Thank you for considering Heartland Custom Homes, Inc. for the construction of your new home. In order to help understand the building process, and have it run smoothly, we are providing this checklist.

 

1.    Catalog request, selection of house plan, set up your first appointment with builder (generally within 6 months of building.).

 

2.    1^st appointment at our idea center, gather initial information for proposal.

 

3.    2^nd appointment, acceptance of proposal, down payment, and contract signing and  preliminary plans ordered.

 

4.    Homeowner receives blueprints, contacts lender, schedules final blueprint review with builder upon receiving lender's financial commitment.

 

5.    3^rd appointment, builder receives financial commitment, final blueprint review & changes, homeowner signs agreement to accept delivery (ATAD).

 

6.    Builder obtains required permits & orders materials.

 

7.    Home delivery date established, commence site work.

 

8.    On-site construction of home and trades work begins.

 

9.    Home completed, builder/homeowner walk-through, builder receives final payment, homeowner receives keys and warranty/service information.
